Now your child can enter the world of Peppa Pig.... literally.
This unique series of books uses the HP Smartstream technology to personalise the child character in the book. Parents can modify the skin colour, hair colour, eye colour and hair style to create a character that looks just like their child.
Delightful swimming adventure with Peppa Pig
In this book, your child goes swimming with Peppa Pig. For this book, transparent water effects had to be overlaid over the child character, which is quite tricky to do in Smartstream. Thankfully, with a bit of experimentation, I got it to work.
Christmas with your Child and Peppa
In this book, Peppa and Your child send their Christmas wish lists to Santa.
This story was based on the Peppa Christmas TV episode. In designing the pages, I adjusted the layout to better accommodate the child character who wasn't in the original. I took extra care to make sure that the child integrate perfectly into the scenes.
Two levels of personalisation in one book.
This new title is a very special book as it allows both father and child to appear together!
This was quite a feat to pull off as high level of personalisation was required.
In producing the artwork, I tried to add a level of humour to the scenes as I thought father and child could laugh at them together. The Peppa Pig licensing team liked my designs so much that they wanted to use them for other projects!
Personalisation to the Max!
After the success of Peppa My Daddy, this new title was created, which features not 2 but 3 personalised characters, as customers can now select a mother and up to two children.
This was quite a complex title which pushed the Smartstream technology to its limits.
It also had some design challenges, as the layouts had to work and look attractive even when both children aren't present.
Despite these challenges, the final product is wonderful and sure to delight parents and children everywhere!
